	The [[Kingdom of Legolandia]] was a large kingdom rich with history and heritage and gained its independence on June 18, 1497, after suffering oppression through domination from a number of invasions over a period of hundreds of years. 	Prior to gaining independence, the kingdom was ruled by empires who sought to dominate the infrastructure, economy, and guild cities within the kingdom. Although the invading forces tried everything within their power to conquer the kingdom, the people of the Kingdom of Legolandia retained their identity as craftspeople, engineers, and highly structured guild cities. The guild cities were made up mostly of architects and businessmen.

	Eventually, there was increasing resistance against foreign domination as the guild cities developed further into organized entities with a greater degree of self-reliance. The leaders of these cities created councils that were able to regulate production, organize trade lines, and make sure that necessary resources were still being supplied even when occupied by another power.
